Day 55. Joshua 6: 17. devoted to the LORD
Jericho falls. The city is devoted to the LORD for destruction. It takes a week of strict rituals. On the seventh day the "big bang". The week stands for the rhythm of life, live daily from expectation. By also using the actions of the people of Israel God cleanses the land, the living space, from what does not belong there. He kills it. We also have to examine ourselves about what is devoted to God for destruction. Cleansing our living space, that is our body and mind. That does not go by itself, it needs daily attention but shall in the end be destroyed. Then we are forever changed people.
